GDA Member Advisory on Governor Kemp’s May 12 Executive Order

On Tuesday, May 12, Governor Kemp issued Executive Order 5.12.20.02 (the “May 12 Executive Order”), which extended his directives applicable to dentistry in his Executive Order 4.23.20.02 from 12 AM on May 14 through 11:59 PM on May 31. Pursuant to the May 12 Executive Order, Georgia licensed dentists may continue to provide their full scope of treatment during the effective date of the order but shall continue to adhere to the following:

• Guidelines for Critical Infrastructure;
• ADA’s Interim Guidance for Minimizing Risk of COVID-19 Transmission; and
• ADA’s Interim Mask and Face Shield Guidelines.
